Scout is an active border patrol K9 with 4 years of service in California State Parks. Specialized in narcotics and explosive detection, Scout works alongside Officer Mike Rodriguez, protecting park visitors and staff. Scout's dedication to his mission has helped intercept contraband and ensure park safety. The K9 Foundation supports ongoing training, veterinary care, and equipment to keep Scout healthy and effective in the field.
Shadow: Search and Rescue Expert
Shadow is a highly trained search and rescue K9 with 3 years in active service. Working with her handler Officer James Patterson, Shadow has successfully located missing hikers and visitors in California's remote parks. Her keen sense of smell and tireless dedication have made her an invaluable asset to park safety. Our foundation ensures Shadow receives the best nutrition, training, and preventative veterinary care to support her critical work.
Atlas: Patrol & Protection
Atlas is an active patrol K9 serving California State Parks with 5 years of experience. His intimidating presence and protective instincts help deter criminal activity while his gentle nature allows him to interact positively with park visitors. Atlas works a rotating schedule protecting different park regions. The K9 Foundation provides comprehensive health screenings, professional training updates, and supports his long-term career development to ensure he can serve safely for years to come.
